After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods via Australia Post within 3 – 4 days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer.

Childhood Australia encourages parental participation in our program and understands that this sometimes means that siblings of enrolled students are also present in the classroom.
Whilst we are very happy to accommodate siblings playing quietly at the back of the classroom (eg colouring, drawing, reading etc), in consideration of all families participating in the program, we ask that you:
Be aware of classroom size limitations
Note that there are only enough activity sheets and craft resources for enrolled students
Understand that noisy play or upset siblings are very distracting for all students and can make it difficult for our teachers to keep their students focused on the lesson. In some cases it may be appropriate to move the sibling to our reception area, where we have puzzles and blocks.
Supervision of children at Childhood Australia other than those children participating in lessons, remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian accompanying the children.
We understand that circumstances change and enrolments may need to be cancelled – we are committed to being as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Absences – Childhood Australia Family Centre
If your child cannot attend a scheduled lesson at our Childhood Australia Family Centre due to illness, family holidays etc, we offer two alternatives:
We are happy to arrange for your child to attend a make up lesson. We will use best endeavours to find a suitable lesson based on age of the other students, number of students in the lesson and the level of advancement in the program, however parents and carers should note that it may not be possible to find a make up lesson where the exact topic is being taught. Your Centre Manager will be happy to suggest some times and days of possible make up lessons.
We encourage you to come early or stay late at your next lesson so that you can spend one-on-one time with your child’s teacher to catch up on the missed lesson.
Absences – Childcare Centre or OSHC Service
If your child cannot attend a scheduled lesson at an external service such as child care centre, OSHC service or similar due to illness, family holidays etc; no make up lessons are applicable. If we are informed of your child’s absence at the time of enrolment, we will only charge you for the projected lessons that you anticipate your child will be present in the lesson.
Cancelling Your Enrolment
When a child enrols in the Childhood Australia Pty Ltd program, we allocate a place in your preferred lesson for that child for each term, and we engage teachers and prepare materials for the duration of the term. For this reason, we are not able to provide refunds for the term which has commenced, but are happy to provide full refunds for any future terms which have been paid for in advance, less any discounts that may have been provided as an incentive for early enrolment.
For Holiday Programs which are cancelled prior to the session, we are happy to refund the total fee excluding a 20% booking fee.
No refunds are given for lessons which have been attended.
Refunds for Module Materials
No refunds are given for module materials which have been taken away from the centre.
When Childhood Australia Pty Ltd Cancels a Lesson
If Childhood Australia Pty Ltd needs to cancel a lesson due to a teacher being sick or for some other reason, we will provide a full refund or a credit for the lesson cancelled.
Children will be children, but sometimes unruly children can disrupt a whole class.
While we encourage children to have fun, be active and participate actively in lessons, it is important that the whole class can enjoy the lesson and that the teacher doesn’t need to spend an unfair amount of time in managing misbehaviour.
If a child is disruptive, the teacher will call the child’s attention and ask them to behave. If the teacher has to call the child’s attention more than three times, the child will be removed from the rest of the lesson.
If the parent is in attendance, the teacher will ask them to play a more active role in managing the child’s behaviour.
If the parent is not in attendance, the teacher will inform the parent of the issue and the parent will be asked to stay during the lesson to ensure the child’s good behaviour.
If this continues to happen every week, Childhood Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to remove the child from the class. Childhood Australia Pty Ltd will make every effort to place the child in another class in an attempt to see if their behaviour improves in a different environment. If another class cannot be found, or the child’s behaviour does not improve, Childhood Australia Pty Ltd’ last resort will be to remove the child from class entirely and the remaining fees will be forfeited.
